Logistics is crucial in supporting the rapid growth in the manufacturing and services industry. Hence, Chengdu has established many logistics centers. Currently, there are a few key logistics centers located in Chengdu.

Southern Chengdu

Chengdu International Aviation Logistics Park

Chengdu International Aviation Logistics Park is near the Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. The focus is on airport-based high-tech manufacturing, warehousing and exhibitions. The planned area is about 233 hectares and its cargo handling capacity is 2.5 million tons per year.

Chengdu Shuangliu Logistics Center

Shuangliu Logistics Center is targeted at highway transportation to/from Leshan, Ya¡¯an, Panzhihua in Sichuan, and Yunan and Tibet outside Sichuan. It has a planned area of 120 hectares with an annual handling capacity of 19 million tons.

Chengdu Longquan Logistics Center

Chengdu Longquan Logistics Center is near the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone. The targeted logistics services are highway transportation to/from Eastern Sichuan and Chongqing. The planned area is 147 hectares with an annual handling capacity of 24 million tons.

Northern Chengdu

Chengdu International Container Logistics Park

Ministry of Railways will invest up to RMB 2 billion in Chengdu to build a container logistic center with an annual handling capacity of 2.5 million TEUs, ranking the first in Asia. The planned area is about 247 hectares.

Chengdu Qing-Bai-Jiang Logistics Park

Chengdu Qing-Bai-Jiang Logistics Park is focusing on railway bulk cargo services. The planned area is about 167 hectares with an annual handling capacity of 10 million tons.

Chengdu Xindu Logistics Center

Xindu Logistics Center focuses on highway logistic services for the Chengdu-Mianyang Economic Circle. The planned area is 160 hectares with an annual handling capacity of 21 million tons.

Chengdu Free-trade Logistics Center

Chengdu Free-trade Logistics Center is located in the western park of Chengdu High-tech Zone. It can provide free-trade warehousing for manufactures in Chengdu. The planned area is 53 hectares.
