Currently, there are more than 30,000 restaurants in Chengdu, with 82 brands rated as famous brands by related national and provincial authorities. Although the Chuan Cuisine is still the backbone of Chengdu¡¯s F&B business, other cuisines also have some market share in the restaurant market, such as Yue Cuisine (Canton), Lu Cuisine (Shandong). Moreover, foreign fast food chain giants, such as McDonalds, KFC, also play an increasingly important role in the F&B business. Feeling the competition, Chuan Cuisine restaurants adopted the advanced management skills used by foreign companies and other cuisines restaurants, and developed more tasty and healthy food with healthy cooking methods to meet the current customers' needs for a healthy and balanced diet.
At the same time, with the unique cuisine skills, Chengdu F&B companies are also expanding outside the city. Currently, there are 51 Chengdu F&B companies with more than 600 restaurants operating in other provinces and overseas.
